Pichavaram - Worlds 2nd Largest Mangroove Forest
After doing some research on the internet and especially after refering this place by one of the Chennaitrekkers club member, we thought of going there for a visit.
On looking at the work "Forest",and reading some blogs and writeups in the internet about water-snakes in the back waters, I had much expectations on this place. But there was not much to my interest rather than meeting new friends and riding all the way from Chennai to Pichavaram.
I think the place might be a little better in the post monsoon seasons.
